Michael W. Thomas has been creating wonderful black & white and color photographs for over 40 years. He proudly served his country in the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam. Upon his return, he realized how vital capturing life is and returned to his favorite hobby of photography.
His photographic career began in New York City and continued when he relocated to scenic Northeastern Pennsylvania. Michael specializes in Fine Art and Landscape Photography. In 2005, with the help of his wife, Lori, ShadowCatcher Photography was officially re-born.
Michael is also an avid cyclist, known to some as the "King of Retro Jerseys," a speed skater, and a USPSA & Steel Challenge Shooter.
Creativity has indeed been what has fueled Lori's soul. She has always had an interest in the arts and being creative. As a child, she would create clothing for her dolls with scarves, do their makeup, and come up with stories behind all of the looks. As she grew older, she would sit with her mother, watch her sew beautiful clothing, and then sew on her own. This led her to the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
Once she met her husband, Michael, she picked up a camera and was hooked. She has been creating memories for family, friends & clients for over 15 years and specializes in Headshot & Portrait Photography and photography for Events and Weddings.
Lori is also the Owner and Head Officiant at Ceremonies by Lori. She has worked as a Paralegal, Legal Secretary, and Administrative Assistant for more than twenty years. Lori is also an author, speaker, and advocate, for Jewish women dealing with crisis pregnancies. She is also on the board of the NEPA Pride Project.
